Referees

Refereeing is the only activity in the Clairlea-Westview Soccer Club for which we pay the participants. Most of our referees are players or former players who have chosen to expand their soccer experience through this challenging and rewarding activity.

All referees who refereed for the club last year are asked to contact the Referee Co-Ordinator by February 27 to advise if you are returning to determine the number of spaces that are available for new referees.

The club will require a few new referees 12 years of age and older as of March 31, 2011 to referee house league games. Players currently playing for Clairlea-Westview Soccer Club will be given first consideration over available assignments. Youth referees are paid and are required to take a referee's course that is conducted by the Scarborough Soccer Referees' Association. Upon completion of refereeing eight games, this course fee is refunded.

Please contact us if you'd like more information on Refereeing at Clairlea-Westview.
